In Ha Tinh city, this year, Phalaenopsis orchids were brought in with many different colors. In particular, this year's market saw orchids grafted onto driftwood trunks, which many people were interested in and looking to buy. According to the market records during Tet in Ha Tinh city, orchids here are not only priced at a few million or tens of million VND, but there are orchid pots grafted in a "unique" shape on driftwood that cost 100 million VND.

Although it has just been put on sale, this 100 million orchid pot already has an owner.

Mr. Pham Linh Tu (27 years old, resident of Huong Son district) said that he and 3 other flower arrangers spent many hours making this work. The idea of making orchid pots on driftwood was carried out by him and he named this work of art "Spring Flower Forest".

“Up to now, I have over 10 years of experience in flower arrangement. This orchid potted work was inspired by the idea of "Spring Flower Forest". In the pot, there are 300 orchid branches with 8 main colors, which are cherry red, small map orchid color... These are beautiful and unique orchid colors that attract viewers. This year, the customer market chooses orchids grafted on driftwood trunks, because it looks natural and harmonious", said Mr. Tu.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoan - owner of an orchid shop in Ha Tinh city said, to serve the market in time for Tet, this time the flower shop has 5 main orchid arrangers and 5 assistants. This year, orchids are brought in with many diverse designs, prices depending on the orchid branches. There are branches that cost millions, but there are branches that cost over 200 thousand/branch. This year, the shop makes pots from several million to 100 million, serving the needs of each customer.

According to Ms. Ngoan, the orchid pot with 300 branches grafted on driftwood has been sold to a customer for 100 million VND. This year, customer demand tends towards orchids planted on driftwood, because it creates a gentle, natural look...
