Technological innovation in sugarcane production to improve competitiveness

On the morning of September 25, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam Sugarcane Machinery and Equipment Exhibition 2024 (SugarEx Vietnam 2024) took place, organized by Fireworks Trade Media - a member of Fireworks Trade Media Group with the support of the Vietnam Sugarcane Association (VSSA). The exhibition will take place on September 25 and 26.

Vietnam is one of the key sugarcane exporting countries with an annual output of up to millions of tons, and in the context of the sugarcane industry facing many challenges and the need for innovation.

SugarEx Vietnam 2024 is an opportunity for Vietnamese experts, businesses and investors to explore the latest technology solutions, anticipate sustainable development trends and improve production efficiency, and is also a strategic bridge with international investors, helping to expand the network in the Vietnamese market.

Dr. Cao Anh Duong, Director of the Vietnam Sugarcane Research Institute, Vice President of the Vietnam Sugarcane Association, said: Currently, Vietnamese factories are producing at a fairly good level. However, in order for the domestic sugarcane industry to compete with other countries in the region and the world, it is necessary to continue to improve technology, improve production processes, reduce costs, improve the rate of sugar recovery and refined sugar products to further enhance competitiveness with other countries in the world.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, there will be International Sugarcane Conferences with the participation of experienced experts and speakers, sharing professional knowledge and discussing future development trends.
