My Quy Tay Border Guard Station visits and encourages "Border Guard Station's adopted son"

On September 17, the local working group of My Quy Tay Border Guard Station, Tay Ninh province visited, gave gifts and encouraged Le Nguyen Cat Tuong (born in 2012), an 8th grade student at My Quy Secondary and High School, currently an "Adopted Child of the Border Guard Station". Cat Tuong was orphaned at a young age, living with her elderly and weak grandparents without a stable income.

Over the past 6 years, thanks to the care and supervision of border guards, from a shy and self-conscious girl, Cat Tuong has become bold, confident, always a good and exemplary student with good academic achievements.

According to the My Quy Tay Border Guard Station, implementing the model of "Border Guard Station's adopted children", the unit is currently directly adopting and supporting 2 students with especially difficult circumstances in the area. During the implementation process, the Party Committee and the Station Command closely coordinated with the authorities and schools to review and select students who meet the criteria.

In addition, they regularly keep in touch with their families and teachers to keep up with their learning and training progress. They not only receive material support but also receive affection and dedicated care like a second “father”, giving them more motivation to excel.

Previously, on the occasion of the opening of the 2025-2026 school year, authorized by the Provincial Border Guard Command, the unit awarded 4 scholarships worth 24 million VND to students in the "Helping Children Go to School" Program.

At the same time, the Station also supported 2 students with difficult circumstances in Som Rong commune and Me So Tho Ngot commune, Chanh Tria district, Svay Rieng province (Kingdom of Cambodia), with the amount of 500,000 VND/month/student.
