According to local reports, recently, the landslide situation on Dinh river bank in Phuoc Son commune has been serious, with a length of over 5 km. At the landslide locations, it has encroached on residential areas and production land of many households, not only causing economic damage, but also affecting people's lives and property.

Comrade Trinh Minh Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inspected the landslide situation on Dinh River bank in Phuoc Son commune.

Through the actual inspection, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the local authorities to urgently review the areas at risk of landslides, deploy repair and reinforcement plans to ensure and limit the continued occurrence of riverbank landslides; install warning signs to inform people and raise vigilance. In the immediate future, monitor the weather situation, effectively develop plans to prevent and handle incidents that occur during the rainy and stormy season. At the same time, the province has also sent documents to the central ministries and branches to consider and allocate capital to soon implement the project of investing in anti-landslide embankments, stabilizing production and daily life for the people.
