Contributing to improving the lives of workers and laborers, the enterprise's grassroots trade union (CĐCS) is increasingly promoting its role as a companion and taking practical care of the laborers. Not only stopping at protecting the legitimate and legal rights of the laborers, the enterprise's grassroots trade union is also a reliable support, contributing to building a safe, friendly and cohesive working environment for laborers.

Identifying the care of the material and spiritual life of workers as a key task, the Trade Union of Hoang Minh Water Joint Stock Company (Duc Hoa district, Long An province) proactively coordinated to organize many practical and meaningful activities for workers to participate in.

The Trade Union organizes regular Trade Union meetings to both disseminate laws and update information for employees, and meet and listen to the thoughts and aspirations of employees, thereby promptly proposing and recommending to the Company's leaders solutions to overcome difficulties and resolve questions and recommendations of employees.

Workers and laborers participate in resource activities

In particular, every year on Labor Month, the Trade Union of Hoang Minh Water Joint Stock Company Branch visits and gives gifts to union members facing difficulties, organizes periodic health check-ups, sports activities, art performances, etc. for the Company's employees.

All of this is to create a joyful and cohesive atmosphere, encouraging employees to feel secure in their work, love their workplace more, thereby staying long-term and making positive contributions to the Company.

Workers and laborers received gifts on Vietnamese Women's Day

In addition, the Trade Union of Hoang Minh Water Joint Stock Company Branch also focuses on launching the emulation movement "Excellent workers, creative workers". This movement is deployed quarterly with specific criteria for each department.

Workers are encouraged to propose technical innovations , energy and material savings for the Company. Seemingly small innovations such as adjusting pump pressure, improving operations, rearranging equipment, etc. have contributed to cost savings and increased productivity by 10-15% in some production lines.

Recently, the Trade Union of Famisea Food Joint Stock Company (Duc Hoa district) has also accompanied the Company's Board of Directors to build a humane, stable and developing working environment.

The Trade Union coordinates with the Company to implement grassroots democracy regulations and organize periodic labor conferences, from which laborers contribute opinions and discuss regulations, regimes and policies to ensure their rights.

In addition, many contents in the collective labor agreement were negotiated to be more beneficial to employees, such as signing labor contracts from the first day, annual salary increases, and full implementation of insurance regimes as prescribed.

Thanks to the efforts of the Trade Union, employees enjoy many welfare policies at the Company. Notably, there are 2 months' salary as Tet bonus, organizing union meals with support up to 90,000 VND/meal, giving gifts and bonuses to employees on major holidays. In addition, employees are also supported with accommodation, daily pick-up and drop-off, and organized pick-up and drop-off vehicles to go home for Tet with a cost of nearly 2 billion VND per year.

In particular, the Trade Union coordinated with Famisea Food Joint Stock Company to organize a trip for all staff and employees with the company's budget; at the same time, organized a football tournament, FMS singing contest,... to help employees relax and entertain after hard working days.
