7km west of Tam Ky city, Phu Ninh irrigation lake (Tam Dai commune, Phu Ninh district) has recently suddenly attracted visitors again through many posts on social networks. And, the highlight lies in the "lonely" tree with lush leaves but "alone" in the middle of the lake.

According to locals, many years ago, a “lonely” tree was planted on this mound of earth. Through many seasons of rain, sun, storms and floods, the tree’s shape remains majestic, with a strong vitality. Although people have planted other trees next to it, only this tree has survived sustainably.
In winter, the water level rises but cannot submerge the tree roots. In summer, the water level recedes, leaving the tree bare and still associated with the childhood of shepherd children. Today, the tree still retains many moments with young people eagerly coming to visit and take pictures.

From Da Nang City, Ms. Vu Hong Thanh (born in 1992, Hai Duong Province) and her friends visited Phu Ninh Lake for tourism. Ms. Thanh said: “I am extremely impressed with this new tourist destination, wild and poetic. I see that most young people are curious to come here because they want to experience a peaceful and unique scene. Everyone finds a connection with nature, relieves stress after tiring days of work and study”.

However, as Co-founder of the Da Nang Zero Waste Community project, Ms. Thanh also expressed concern about the environmental issues here. Many businesses appeared, there were no garbage collection points and the lack of awareness of maintaining public hygiene of some tourists... gradually spoiled the beauty of this spontaneous tourism point of view.

The scenery of Phu Ninh Lake is most poetic at sunset, but it also poses a risk of drowning for children, even though authorities have placed warning signs.
