Awarded the Blue Wave Achievement Award, what did diva My Linh say?

At the 2023 Green Wave Awards, the Organizing Committee announced that the Achievement Award will be given to singer My Linh. Knowing this information, the diva was moved and said that the award is both a commemoration of the past journey and a strong motivation for her to continue contributing in the future.

“I had just landed from the plane. As soon as my phone got signal again, I received a flood of congratulatory messages from many children. I felt quite surprised but very happy,” she said.

Diva My Linh was moved because what she has done in nearly 30 years of singing has been recognized, however she still believes that there is a lot of luck involved: "Life always lets me meet the right person at the right time."

My Linh believes that the first steps in her career were not only supported by musician Anh Quan or musician Huy Tuan but also by other names such as musician Duong Thu, singer Bang Kieu... Those were the people who accompanied her and helped her lay the first bricks for the wall of her career, so that today those achievements have been honored.

“Some people gave me support, some gave me encouragement, some gave me a shirt to wear on stage. I will always keep all of those favors in my heart, I can never forget them,” singer My Linh was moved.

Looking back on the past, most audiences only see the highs, but My Linh always cherishes the lows in her career.

“Many people still avoid talking about the low points in their careers, but for me, as I get older, I understand that those are necessary stages in everyone's life to perfect themselves. Everyone in their youth will have a time when they want to win, only when they understand that there are many things more precious than winning, that is when they find their own happiness,” the singer confided.

However, the singer admitted that this thinking has built a very safe My Linh of the later period. The diva thinks that young people should have a little "competitiveness", a little "fighting spirit", a little "self-admiration" to have creativity and breakthroughs to find a suitable path for themselves. Besides, she also realized that each person is a separate universe, no one should be an example for anyone, but each person will find a suitable path for themselves.

“There are people like me who like peace and quiet and will stay away from gossip. While there are many others who have too much energy and wherever they go, there will be noise. It is each person’s choice,” she said.

Looking back on 2023, My Linh said she had had wonderful experiences, not only because she ended the old year with the Green Wave Achievement Award, but also because of the joys and sorrows when participating in the program Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind and Breaking the Waves. This was also considered a time for My Linh to "step out of her comfort zone" and the things she learned brought her interesting emotions.

“I feel like I have been given a new source of energy. In the near future, I may continue to release albums or do more tours everywhere,” My Linh revealed.
