Elon Musk claims Grok 4 is the smartest in the world

(NLDO) - Elon Musk recently announced the launch of Grok 4 and praised this version as being smarter than many graduate students in all fields.

Grok 4 is the new version of AI chatbot on the X platform of technology billionaire Elon Musk.

Introducing the new model in a livestream on X, Mr. Musk asserted that Grok 4 is "the smartest AI in the world ."

Touting the model's merits, he said that if Grok 4 took the SAT - a standardized test used in college admissions - it would score perfectly every time and even surpass most graduate students in every field.

"Grok 4 is smarter than almost all graduate students in every field. That's really amazing," Musk said.

Musk admitted that the pace of AI development is “a little scary.” He said that Tesla cars will have Grok integrated next week.

The launch of the new Grok model comes a day after Grok 3 made anti-Semitic comments on X, but those posts were later deleted.

xAI, the company behind the chatbot, has issued a statement about the recent controversial comments. xAI said it is actively working to remove inappropriate posts. "xAI trains models that only seek the truth, and thanks to the millions of users on X, we can quickly recognize and update the model when necessary," xAI said.

Regarding Grok 3's statements, billionaire Musk explained that it was due to the limitations in AI's ability to filter human input. He wrote on X: "Grok was too compliant with user requests, too eager to please, and easily manipulated, basically. This is being addressed."
