Nearly 2.2 million visitors to Binh Thuan

Tourism activities in Binh Thuan province continued to operate stably after the New Year holidays. In the first quarter of 2024, the number of tourists coming for recreation and relaxation increased by 6.41% over the same period last year, estimated at nearly 2.2 million arrivals, of which international visitors reached nearly 122 thousand arrivals.

According to a report from the Provincial Statistics Office, the number of tourists arriving in March is estimated at approximately 711 thousand arrivals (up 3.5% over the same period last year), of which international visitors are estimated to reach 34.2 thousand arrivals (up 37.6% over the same period last year); revenue from tourism activities in March is estimated at nearly VND 1,873 billion. Cumulative tourism revenue in the first quarter of 2024 is estimated at VND 5,701.5 billion (up 6.2% over the same period last year).

Continuing to maintain the growth rate in April as well as the second quarter, aiming to welcome 9.5 million visitors this year, in addition to organizing exciting and attractive activities on the occasion of major holidays (April 19, April 30 and May 1, Hung King's death anniversary...), in the coming time, Binh Thuan tourism industry will continuously introduce and promote tourism products, promotional programs as well as the image of Phan Thiet - Binh Thuan destination to tourists when participating in the Southern Folk Cake Festival 2024 in Can Tho, Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival 2024, International Tourism Fair in Korea...
