Nearly 48 billion VND to maintain and repair some sections on National Highway 279

BAC NINH - The Department of Construction of Bac Ninh province has just started repairing the roadbed, road surface and constructions on the route with the following sections: Km43+260 - Km 46; Km76-Km77; Km87+500 - Km89+500 and completed repairing the traffic safety system on the route from Km37 - Km94 of National Highway 279.

The above sections of the route pass through the communes of Duong Huu, An Lac, Son Dong, Luc Ngan, Bien Son, Tan Son. The total investment cost is nearly 48 billion VND from the State budget. The project is constructed by Bac Giang Traffic Construction Joint Stock Company.

On the basis of the existing 7.5 m wide roadbed, the 5.5 m wide road surface is damaged and degraded, making it unsafe for people to travel. The contractor will reinforce the roadside, repair and maintain the asphalt concrete pavement, repair the longitudinal drainage system, and complete the traffic safety system.

At this time, at the construction site there are about 30-40 workers and many machines focusing on construction items: Peeling off the asphalt layer on the road surface, rolling the roadbed, digging the drainage system...

The project is expected to be completed and put into use by the end of this year, contributing to helping people travel safely, transport goods conveniently, and promote socio -economic development in the area.
