The price of live pigs in the North continued to be stable at around 68,000 - 69,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, some provinces in the Central and Central Highlands recorded a decrease of 1,000 VND in live pig prices, especially Binh Dinh at 67,000 VND/kg - the lowest in the country; the two localities with the highest live pig prices in the region, Binh Thuan and Lam Dong, also decreased by 1,000 VND to 71,000 VND/kg.

In the Southern region, the price of live pigs in Ba Ria - Vung Tau remained at the highest level at 73,000 VND/kg. Notably, the livestock capital Dong Nai decreased by 1,000 VND to 72,000 VND/kg; the same level as Binh Phuoc and Ca Mau. Many localities simultaneously decreased by 1,000 VND such as Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, Long An, Can Tho and Kien Giang to 71,000 VND/kg. Provinces and cities reduced to 70,000 VND/kg including Ben Tre, Dong Thap, An Giang, Tien Giang, Vinh Long and Tra Vinh .
The average price of live pigs nationwide is 69,500 VND/kg. The price difference between regions continues to narrow, with the North at 68,600 VND/kg, the Central at 68,800 VND and the South at 70,900 VND/kg.
Thanks to the cooling of live pigs, retail meat prices continue to decrease. In the Ho Chi Minh City market, the prices of some popular meat products are specifically pork chops at 111,000 VND/kg, thigh meat at 138,000 VND/kg, pork belly at 205,000 VND/kg, ribless pork belly at 240,000 VND/kg, boneless pork leg at 146,000 VND/kg, lean pork at 193,000 VND/kg, old ribs at 134,000 VND/kg, pork fat at 89,000 VND/kg, minced meat at 120,000 VND/kg.../.
