The market displays and sells agricultural products, many of which meet VietGAP, organic, OCOP standards, typical agricultural products such as coffee, honey, bird's nest, medicinal herbs, durian, avocado, passion fruit, macadamia, rice, corn, processed foods such as vermicelli, cakes, pickled bamboo shoots... and some woven products with unique characteristics made by ethnic minorities.

According to the People's Committee of Mang Yang district, in recent years, agricultural products of Mang Yang district people have been produced on a small and fragmented scale, the value has not been commensurate with the potential advantages of land and labor resources of the district. In addition, the output for safe agricultural products and the market access of production facilities in the area still face many difficulties, consumers are hesitant when choosing to buy safe agricultural products.

Therefore, the market is one of many ways to help consumers access agricultural products that ensure quality, safety, and identify the origin of the products. This is also an opportunity for farmers to exchange and grasp the needs and tastes of consumers in order to improve and enhance product quality and enhance the competitiveness of local agricultural products.

Immediately after that, the Gia Lai Provincial Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion coordinated with the People's Committee of Kong Chro district to organize a market to introduce products from ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

The market took place from August 3 to 5, on Le Hong Phong Street (Kong Chro town) with 30 booths of communes, towns and a number of production and business households, enterprises inside and outside Kong Chro district.

The booths display and introduce main products such as: Rice, cassava, corn, beans of all kinds, wild vegetables, green vegetables, tubers, fruits, chicken, brocade products, baskets, herbs, cuisine, handicrafts... Participating products ensure quality, food hygiene and safety, have clear origin and meet VietGAP, organic, OCOP standards at district and provincial levels.

After 3 days of organization, the market attracted 4 thousand people to visit and shop; total revenue is estimated at 200 million VND.
