Gia Lai inaugurated the DT.633 bypass project, from Nui Ghenh to the coastal road.

(gialai.gov.vn) - On the morning of September 30, at Ngai An village, De Gi commune, Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee solemnly inaugurated the project of the DT.633 bypass road, the section from Nui Ghenh to the coastal road (DT.639). Attending the ceremony were comrades: Ho Quoc Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; former Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee; Pham Anh Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Chau Ngoc Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; former Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, former members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, former Standing members of the Provincial People's Council and Provincial People's Committee; comrades of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Standing members of the Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and the National Assembly Delegation of the province; representatives of leaders of departments, branches, sectors; leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and a large number of people of De Gi commune.

In recent years, with the attention and direction of the Central Government, the determination of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee and the consensus of the people, many key infrastructure projects have been implemented, creating a strong change in the appearance and connectivity of the province; many key traffic works of the province have been invested in construction and put into effective use, contributing significantly to traffic connection, promoting local socio -economic development. Specifically: The coastal route Cat Tien - My Thanh - Lai Giang - Thien Chanh is nearly 39 km long, with an investment capital of 2,500 billion VND; The route connecting with DT.639 in Hoai Nhon, 7 km long, with an investment capital of 786 billion VND; The route from National Highway 19 to Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial - Urban - Service Park, 19.45 km long, with an investment capital of 1,170 billion VND; The Chu Pah - Ia Grai - Duc Co - Chu Prong inter-district route, 114km long, with an investment capital of 880 billion VND; the Chu Se - Chu Puh - Chu Prong inter-district route, 32.75km long, with an investment capital of 320 billion VND; the Duc Co district urgent border traffic route, 21.5km long, with an investment capital of 140 billion VND... and many other essential roads and infrastructure works.

Provincial leaders visited the DT.633 bypass route.

In particular, the DT.633 bypass, the section from Nui Ghenh to the coastal road (DT.639) is a strategic traffic route, playing an important role, and is prioritized for investment in the period 2021-2025. The project is about 3.53km long, designed according to the standards of a grade III plain road with a design speed of 80km/h, a 20.5m wide roadbed, a 17.5m wide asphalt concrete road surface with 02 motor vehicle lanes and 02 mixed lanes. The total investment of the project is 336 billion VND, using the provincial budget.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said: After 3 years of construction (December 2022), up to now, the project has been completed on schedule, ensuring quality and safety. Thereby, helping to strengthen the main traffic connection in the East - West direction, connecting the coastal road with routes DT.633, DT.639, meeting the travel and freight needs of people in the area; minimizing the flow of people and vehicles through the current DT.633 section of De Gi commune, at the same time opening up space for urban development, services and tourism, contributing to promoting socio-economic development for the locality and the whole province.

“Today’s inauguration ceremony not only marks the completion of a modern transport project but is also a vivid symbol of the achievements in building and developing the country in general and Gia Lai province in particular, clearly demonstrating the will, determination and aspiration of the Party Committee, government and people of the whole province. This is a project of practical significance to welcome the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party…” - Comrade Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang emphasized.

DT.633 bypass route through De Gi commune

In order for the project to be most effective and achieve the goals according to the approved investment policy, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang requested the investor and management unit to continue to do a good job of project management, carry out warranty and maintenance, ensure traffic safety, and ensure the project's lifespan according to regulations.

Along with that, departments, branches, localities and related units continue to coordinate in managing, exploiting and using the route effectively and sustainably; In particular, for localities, it is necessary to review, update and supplement the planning of related functional areas for adjustment, in order to maximize the potential and advantages brought by the route, serving the socio-economic development of the locality; at the same time, continue to join hands and build many other important infrastructure projects, contributing to realizing the goal of making Gia Lai a fairly developed province in the leading group in the Central region, firmly entering the "new era, the era of rising up, developing richly and prosperously" of the nation.
