Fuel prices and gold prices both decrease

Last week (from July 14 to 18), fuel prices decreased slightly. Specifically, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased by VND178/liter, to VND19,481/liter; RON 95 gasoline decreased by VND165/liter, with a maximum retail price of VND19,925/liter. Similarly, the price of diesel oil decreased by VND38/liter, to VND18,799/liter; fuel oil decreased by VND85/kg, to VND15,478/kg. Kerosene alone increased by VND58/liter, with a maximum retail price of VND18,429/liter.

Gold prices also “turned around” to decrease this week. Specifically, the current SJC gold bar price is 119.5 million VND/tael for buying and 121 million VND/tael for selling, down 500,000 VND/tael for selling compared to the end of last week.

At the first-class markets in the province such as Bien Hoa, Long Khanh, Long Thanh, Phuong Lam, the prices of many types of food are quite stable. Specifically, pork belly costs from 150,000 to 180,000 VND/kg, beef fillet from 280,000 to 300,000 VND/kg, first-class shrimp from 180,000 to 200,000 VND/kg, chicken eggs and first-class duck eggs cost from 24,000 to 35,000 VND/dozen...
