SJC gold bar price is still 5.66 million VND/tael higher than world gold price

The price of SJC gold bars has decreased in the context that the world gold price has fallen below the threshold of 2,400 USD/ounce in recent days and the difference between domestic and world gold prices has increased.

With a price of 2,389.3 USD/ounce, converted according to the listed exchange rate at the bank, the world gold price is currently equivalent to 73.34 million VND/tael.

Today, SJC Company and four banks in the Big4 group reduced the selling price of SJC gold bars from 79.5 million VND/tael to 79 million VND/tael.

At SJC Company, the buying price of gold bars also decreased accordingly, to 77 million VND/tael.

Although the price of SJC gold bars has decreased, compared to the converted world gold price, the domestic gold price is still 5.66 million VND/tael higher.

This is a rather high difference because since the State Bank approved four banks and SJC Company to sell gold to increase the gold supply to the market, the difference between domestic and world gold prices has continuously decreased.

In nearly 2 months, gold price only increased and decreased 4 times.

According to records, in contrast to the previous scene of gold prices increasing and decreasing dozens of times per day, the current price of SJC gold bars fluctuates very little.

In the past 2 months, the price of SJC gold bars has only fluctuated about 4 times. Specifically, the gold price remained at 66.98 million VND/tael for more than a month. Then, on July 18, the State Bank increased the gold selling price to 80 million VND/tael.

By July 23, in the face of the sharp decline in world gold prices, the price of SJC gold bars fell by VND500,000/tael to VND79.5 million/tael. Today, the price of SJC gold bars fell by another VND500,000/tael.

Meanwhile, the selling price of SJC brand 9999 gold rings today is 77 million VND/tael. The buying price is 75.6 million VND/tael.

Bao Tin Minh Chau and DOJI companies also have 9999 gold ring prices fluctuating between 77 and 77.03 million VND/tael. The buying price fluctuates between 75.75 and 75.88 million VND/tael.

Compared to the converted world gold price, the price of 9999 gold rings is 3.66 million VND/tael higher.
