SJC gold bar price increased sharply again, exceeding all forecasts.

(NLDO) – Each tael of SJC gold bars at gold companies has far surpassed the 130 million VND/tael mark this morning, small gold shops reached the 132.5 million VND mark.

On the morning of August 30, domestic gold prices continued to "rise" when setting new highs.

Gold companies SJC, PNJ, DOJI simultaneously listed the buying price of SJC gold bars at 129.1 million VND/tael, selling price at 130.6 million VND/tael, an increase of 1.7 million VND/tael compared to yesterday morning.

Some small gold shops in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi quoted the price of SJC gold bars at 131.5 million VND/tael for buying and 132.5 million VND/tael for selling, an increase of 2 million VND/tael compared to yesterday morning. In just 2 days, the gold shops raised the price to nearly 4 million VND/tael.

Similarly, the shocking increase also occurred in 99.99% gold rings and jewelry gold.

Businesses listed the price of plain gold rings at 122.5 million VND/tael for buying and 125 million VND/tael for selling, an increase of 1.9 million VND/tael compared to yesterday.

World gold prices also skyrocketed

The domestic gold price has skyrocketed following the upward trend of world prices, surprising even the most optimistic people. Previously, some experts predicted that this year, the price of SJC gold bars and gold rings could reach 130 million VND/tael. However, up to now, the price of gold bars has far surpassed this mark, even climbing to new peaks in the free market.

In the international market, the price of gold closed the trading week at 3,448 USD/ounce, up about 40 USD/ounce compared to the previous session. This is a very strong increase in the price of gold in recent days. The price of gold broke out in the context of cash flow returning to this investment channel, before developments showing that the US may cut interest rates next September, and the USD weakened.

Converted according to the exchange rate listed at banks this morning, the world gold price is equivalent to about 110 million VND/tael, lower than SJC gold bars by more than 20 million VND/tael. This is a record difference between domestic and world gold prices.
