Accordingly, from 3:00 p.m. on September 25, the maximum retail price for petroleum products will be applied as follows: E5RON92 gasoline: no higher than VND 19,618/liter (down VND 368/liter compared to the current base price), lower than RON95-III gasoline by VND 547/liter; RON95-III gasoline no higher than VND 20,165/liter (down VND 443/liter compared to the current base price); 0.05S diesel oil no higher than VND 18,658/liter (down VND 47/liter compared to the current base price).
In the opposite direction, kerosene is not higher than 18,628 VND/liter (an increase of 84 VND/liter compared to the current base price); 180CST 3.5S mazut is not higher than 15,209 VND/kg (an increase of 79 VND/kg compared to the current base price).
Thus, since the beginning of the year, domestic gasoline prices have undergone 40 adjustments, of which RON 95 gasoline has increased 22 times, decreased 18 times; diesel oil has increased 20 times, decreased 19 times and remained unchanged once.
The adjustment of retail gasoline prices is decided by key traders and distributors, but must not be made earlier than 3:00 p.m. on September 25, 2025. The time to apply the new base price will last until before the next announcement period of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Enterprises shall adjust prices in accordance with the provisions of current Decrees and Circulars on management of gasoline trading and use of the Price Stabilization Fund. The Ministry of Industry and Trade will continue to coordinate with competent agencies to inspect and supervise the implementation of regulations on ensuring gasoline supply, and strictly handle violations if detected.
