At the same time, advise the Provincial People's Committee to consult with the People's Committee of Lam Dong province to consider stopping sand mining on the left bank of the Krong No river, from the section after the Buon Tua Srah hydropower dam to the end of the main road of Nam Ka commune with a length of about 16 km. Propose that the Dak Lak Provincial Police regularly send a waterway traffic patrol team to patrol the Krong No river, from the section after the Buon Tua Srah hydropower dam to the self-management team No. 3, Plao Sieng village, Nam Ka commune.
Nam Ka Commune People's Committee said that from 2013 to now, in Nam Ka and Ea R'bin communes (old Lak district), about 20 landslides have been recorded, with an area of about 160 hectares; of which there are 7 severe landslides, with sections over 500 meters long, causing hundreds of hectares of people's production land to be completely wiped out.
