On the afternoon of June 14, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Thua Thien Hue Province Police announced that the unit had just successfully rescued three female students who got lost while climbing a mountain.
Earlier that morning, the 114 Information Center of Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police received information that three female tourists were lost in the Hon Vuon mountain area (Hue City).
Immediately after receiving the news, the police mobilized 18 officers and soldiers, three specialized vehicles quickly went to the scene to search for the person.
By 2:00 p.m., the rescue team found the three lost girls.
The three victims who got lost at Hon Vuon Mountain were all students from the University of Foreign Languages (Hue University) who came to this area for a hiking experience.
However, on the way back, he got lost.
When finding the lost person, the authorities calmed her down, provided drinking water and guided the three girls to move towards Huyen Khong Son Thuong pagoda area.
During the journey, due to the hot weather and the steep, slippery mountain terrain, the victims showed signs of exhaustion. The police had to help support and carry the three girls to the safety of the pagoda area.
