Reduce 36 fees and charges to support people and businesses, many reduced by up to 50%

According to the Ministry of Finance , from July 1, in addition to the registration fee for domestically produced and assembled cars and trailers being reduced by 50%, many other fees and charges are reduced by 50% compared to current regulations.

Of the 36 reduced fees, 21 fees are reduced by up to 50%. For example, fees for granting licenses for the establishment and operation of banks; fees for granting licenses for the establishment and operation of non-bank credit institutions; fees for granting certificates of construction operation capacity to organizations; fees for granting certificates of practice in construction activities to individuals; fees for appraisal of construction investment projects (fees for appraisal of construction investment feasibility study reports or fees for appraisal of construction investment economic -technical reports);

Some other types of fees are also reduced by 50% such as Appraisal fee for granting international travel service business license, domestic travel service business license; Appraisal fee for granting tour guide card; Fees and charges in the securities sector; License fee for importing non-business publications; Registration fee for importing publications for business; Industrial property fee...

Regarding radio frequency usage fees, in case organizations and individuals have paid fees according to the fee rates prescribed in Circular No. 265/2016/TT-BTC and Circular No. 11/2022/TT-BTC for the effective period of this Circular, the organizations and individuals will be offset the difference in fee amount between the fee rates prescribed in Circular No. 265/2016/TT-BTC and Circular No. 11/2022/TT-BTC with the fee rates prescribed in this Circular against the fee payable in the next fee payment period. The fee collection organization is responsible for calculating and offsetting the fee amount for organizations and individuals in the next fee payment period.

According to the impact assessment, the application of Circular No. 44/2023/TT-BTC is expected to reduce budget revenue by about VND 700 billion.
