In the first quarter, press agencies closely followed the direction of Party committees and authorities, and the propaganda orientation of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, proactively propagating and promptly and comprehensively reflecting outstanding current and political events; key tasks in socio-economic development, national defense - security, foreign affairs; propagating Party building work, building the political system in the area; press agencies promptly and clearly reflected the results of performing tasks in 2023, major events of the province in early 2024, activities to celebrate the Party, celebrate spring, preserve and promote traditional cultural identity, attracting a large number of audiences, listeners, readers...

Discussing at the conference, delegates also clarified a number of shortcomings and limitations in news content, articles, and news censorship before posting.

Solutions to focus on implementing tasks in the second quarter, focusing on propaganda work on the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), the anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, International Labor Day, opening activities of the Tuyen Quang Tourism Year 2024; the implementation of key programs and projects in the province; on border and island sovereignty ; propaganda on Party building, political system building... promoting the spirit of solidarity, efforts and determination of all levels, sectors and the entire people to successfully carry out the tasks of 2024.

Concluding the conference, Comrade Nong Thi Bich Hue, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, assessed the activities of press agencies in the first quarter. The press focused on timely, proactive, and comprehensive reflection in all fields, creating a competitive atmosphere for labor, production, and implementation of tasks right from the first days and months of the year. Comrade noted that it is necessary to overcome limitations in policy communication. Comrade requested the team of reporters to improve the quality of oral propaganda activities; agencies and units under the Provincial People's Committee need to proactively coordinate to provide information to better meet the requirements and propaganda tasks in the new situation.

The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department emphasized that in the second quarter, the press needs to proactively inform about important current and political events taking place in the province such as: thematic meetings of the Provincial People's Council; progress of implementing key projects and works of the province; cultural conferences of the whole province... Along with that, press agencies identify activities towards the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day. Along with that, there needs to be many press works, literary and artistic works that exploit well the cultural traditions of the ethnic groups in Tuyen Quang province; promote propaganda on gender education, marriage and family, legal regulations; law violations, law compliance among teenagers, prevent social evils from entering schools...

Propagating tasks for the school year, preparing for the high school graduation exam, vocational training, and streaming for high school students; promoting propaganda to promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle, spreading good practices and good examples; inspection, supervision, and Party discipline work; preventing corruption and negativity; leadership capacity of Party organizations, Party cell activities, political education activities within the Party, and building a strong political system.

He hoped that the provincial press agencies would promote the spirit of being proactive, sensitive, and promptly posting fast and accurate information on the activities and political, cultural, and social events of the province.
