DNVN - On September 3, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 1880/QD-TTg, appointing Professor, Dr. Le Van Loi, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, as President of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences. This decision takes effect immediately upon signing.

Professor, Dr. Le Van Loi was appointed President of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences .

Professor, PhD Le Van Loi, born in 1974 in Nghe An , is a scientist with many years of experience in research, teaching and scientific management.

During his career, he has held many important positions at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics , including lecturer of religious sciences and beliefs, Head of the Department of Organization and Personnel, Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel, Deputy Director in charge of the Department of Science Management, and Director of the Department of Science Management from 2014 to 2020. In February 2020, he was appointed as Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.

The Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics is an agency under the Party Central Committee, operating under the direct leadership of the Politburo and the Secretariat. The Academy is responsible for training leaders, managers and political theory scientists for the Party, the State and socio-political organizations. At the same time, the Academy is also a center for theoretical research on Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh thought, policies and laws of the Party and the State, as well as the fields of political science, leadership science and providing scientific arguments in planning development policies.

The Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences is a government agency that specializes in researching basic social science issues, providing scientific arguments for the Party and the State in building strategies and policies for national development. The Institute also advises on social science policies and trains high-quality human resources to serve the country's industrialization and modernization.
