Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Park Dong Chul - Chief Representative of GNI in Vietnam said that from supporting 60 disadvantaged students at small schools in the mountainous area of Hoa Binh in 2005, to date, GNI Vietnam is sponsoring more than 21,000 children, more than 300,000 Vietnamese people benefiting from the projects.
Of which, GNI Vietnam has built 17 new schools, repaired more than 300 classrooms and auxiliary facilities, built and renovated 90 child-friendly libraries and donated more than 200,000 books to sow the seeds of knowledge.
Over the past 20 years, GNI Vietnam has delivered more than 200,000 gifts to disadvantaged children, supported the livelihoods of more than 70,000 households, and built and repaired thousands of toilets and water supply facilities for households and communities. Notably, during the Covid-19 pandemic, GNI Vietnam promptly mobilized more than 1 million USD for emergency relief activities, supporting 87,000 people to overcome difficulties. In partnership, GNI Vietnam has also signed more than 40 Memorandums of Understanding with ministries, branches, local authorities and businesses to coordinate, expand and spread the value of serving the community. The total disbursed capital over the past 20 years reached over 60 million USD.

In the coming time, GNI Vietnam will continue to make more efforts in the fields of: Education , livelihood, health, environment... to create bigger changes with the message "For children - spreading good changes".
Specifically, GNI Vietnam will focus on 5 strategic pillars: Building a safe and inclusive environment for all children; promoting equal education, creativity and comprehensive development; developing green and sustainable livelihoods for households; empowering communities to become subjects of change; innovating, cooperating and improving organizational capacity, transparency and efficiency. The goal is that each year, millions of Vietnamese children and people will be supported by GNI to access learning opportunities, livelihoods and a safer, more humane life...
On this occasion, GNI was honored to receive a certificate of merit from the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) for its contributions to socio-economic development in Vietnam in the 2015-2025 period.
