Speaking at the reception, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang congratulated Ms. Carmen Cano de Lasala on her appointment as Ambassador to Vietnam at a time when the two countries celebrate the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the "Strategic Partnership towards the Future" framework (2009-2024); at the same time, he affirmed that Vietnam always attaches importance to and wishes to bring the Strategic Partnership with Spain to a new level, commensurate with the cooperation potential of the two sides. Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang happily introduced the position and role of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, as well as some types of training and refresher courses at the Academy, especially the planned refresher courses and title-based refresher courses at the Academy, with the participation of international experts. The Academy wishes to connect with partners that are suitable for the Academy's functions through the Spanish Embassy in Vietnam to cooperate in the field of training and fostering middle and senior management leaders, and continue to discuss with the Royal Institute of Elcano and Alternativas to consider signing a new phase of cooperation Memorandum of Understanding in the field of research and policy consultation.
