HAGL confirmed to part ways with Tuan Anh

Tuan Anh will leave HAGL after a long time together.

Coach Vu Tien Thanh confirmed that midfielder Nguyen Tuan Anh will part ways with HAGL. The Vietnamese player is expected to join Nam Dinh in the near future.

At the press conference after the 2-1 victory over Ho Chi Minh City FC in round 13 of the V-League, coach Vu Tien Thanh said: "Tuan Anh has made the final decision to leave HAGL. This is something I did not want, but I have to accept. We also have players who can fill the gap in midfield such as Thanh Son, Quang Nho or Duc Viet."

Coach Vu Tien Thanh added: "HAGL has trained many young talents, but if the players stay for a long time, it will be difficult for them to play. I can cite typical examples of Van Toan, Van Thanh, Viet Hung or Hong Duy, all of whom played very well after leaving HAGL. I hope Tuan Anh can develop his full potential at his new team."

Currently, Nam Dinh is leading the V-League 2023/2024 rankings with 29 points. Arriving at Thien Truong Stadium will help Tuan Anh stand before the opportunity to win the first title in his career at the top level. Meanwhile, HAGL is ranked 12th with 13 points and 4 points more than the bottom position of Khanh Hoa.
