Welcoming the General Secretary and his wife at the parking lot, President of the Republic of Korea Lee Jae Myung and his wife shook hands to welcome General Secretary To Lam and his wife, and invited the General Secretary and his wife to step into the position of honor.

Showing respect for the visit to Korea by General Secretary To Lam and his wife along with the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, the neighboring country sent a military band to welcome and fired 21 cannon shots. At the same time, the military band played the Vietnamese and Korean national anthems.

President Lee Jae Myung of the Republic of Korea invited General Secretary To Lam to review the Guard of Honor. Then, President Lee Jae Myung of the Republic of Korea and General Secretary To Lam introduced the official delegation members of the two countries.

At the welcoming ceremony, Korean children sang the song "Children of the world celebrate," praising the friendship, love, and solidarity of children around the world to welcome the General Secretary and his wife.
