Airlines cancel a series of flights due to the impact of storm No. 3

On July 21, airlines simultaneously announced the postponement and cancellation of both domestic and international flights due to the impact of storm No. 3.

Specifically, Vietnam Airlines will cancel flights VN1188, VN7188, VN7189, VN7056, VN7057 between Ho Chi Minh City and Hai Phong; VN1856, VN1857 between Ho Chi Minh City and Con Dao.

Pacific Airlines will adjust the departure time of flights BL6440 and BL6441 between Ho Chi Minh City and Hai Phong earlier than planned, to ensure take-off and landing time at Cat Bi airport before 12 hours. The airline will also cancel flights BL6520 and BL6521 on this route during the day.

On July 22, Vietnam Airlines Group flights operating at Cat Bi airport will depart after 12 hours.

Vietjet Air also temporarily suspended 8 flights to and from Quang Ninh and Hai Phong on July 21, including flights VJ232 from Ho Chi Minh City to Van Don, VJ233 from Van Don to Ho Chi Minh City, VJ290/VJ1278/VJ1284 from Ho Chi Minh City to Hai Phong, VJ291/VJ1275/VJ1285 from Hai Phong to Ho Chi Minh City, and VJ734/VJ733 from Nha Trang to Hai Phong.

For international flights, Vietnam Airlines had to adjust some flights to Hong Kong. Vietjet Air adjusted the itinerary of 2 flights on July 21, VJ926/VJ925 from Hai Phong - Seoul (South Korea) to Hanoi - Seoul (South Korea). Some other flights were affected.
