Initial statistics show that 75 houses in Quang Dien commune alone had their roofs blown off. Of these, 40 houses were in An Xuan Dong village, 20 houses in An Xuan Tay village and 15 houses in An Xuan Bac village. In addition, the tornado also damaged a number of public works and schools.
Currently, the authorities and local authorities are coordinating with people to overcome the consequences and count the damage to provide timely support to the people.

This morning (September 28), the Hue City Civil Defense Command announced that people are required to stay off the streets from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on September 28 (except for those on duty and in special cases) until further notice.

Requesting the Chairmen of the People's Committees of communes and wards to closely monitor the storm developments in the locality; according to decentralization and authority, direct the forces to propagate to people in the management area, storm prevention and ensure safety when there are strong winds.

The Hue City Military Command continues to request agencies and units to grasp the situation; prepare plans, forces and means to respond promptly and support people when the storm makes landfall, in order to minimize damage caused by storms and rains.



The Hue City Police Department has directed police units and localities to raise vigilance, mobilize maximum forces and means, and synchronously deploy response plans for storm No. 10.
