Hezbollah fired dozens of rockets into Israel, Houthi "played big" causing Tel Aviv to activate the alarm

On September 15, two Iran-backed movements, Hezbollah in Lebanon and Houthi in Yemen, both announced attacks against Israel.

According to Anadolu news agency, the Hezbollah movement announced that it had carried out military operations against Israeli targets along the Lebanese border.

Specifically, Hezbollah's statement said that the movement fired dozens of Katyusha rockets at the command post of the 188th Brigade's armored battalion at Raviv barracks in retaliation for Israeli attacks on the town of Sarafand in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah also used unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to directly attack and destroy an Israeli technical system in Malkia. In addition, Hezbollah gunmen used UAVs to attack Israeli soldiers stationed in Metula.

Meanwhile, the Houthi movement also said it had launched an attack with a “new hypersonic ballistic missile” targeting central Israel.

“Our operations will continue as long as the aggression and occupation in the Gaza Strip does not end,” said the movement’s leader, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi.

In a speech broadcast on the Houthi-controlled al-Masirah TV channel, the leader also highlighted technological advances in the group's military capabilities, specifically mentioning a new type of ballistic missile used in a recent attack on Israeli territory.

According to Mr. al-Houthi, this missile “pierced all the defense belts” of the Israeli missile defense system, had a range of about more than 2,000 km and flew for about 11 and a half minutes.

For its part, Israel announced that a missile from Yemen fell in an open area about 6 km from Ben Gurion International Airport, causing no casualties. This is the first time a missile from Yemen has reached the central region of Israel.
