Artist Do Chung launches book

On the morning of October 16, the Thanh Hoa Literature and Arts Association held a discussion on the photo book “Painter Do Chung”. Attendees included artist Luong Xuan Doan, Chairman of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, Thanh Hoa artists and friends and family of artist Do Chung.

With more than 10 solo art exhibitions held in Thanh Hoa, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong , painter Do Chung has his own position in the art world of Thanh Hoa and the whole country.

The book "Artist Do Chung" is a collection of 300 abstract paintings, of various sizes and themes, fully expressing all aspects of real life and human dreams and desires.

Throughout the paintings is the idea of ​​a woman walking towards the sun, although none of the works contain the image of a woman.

Artist Do Chung thanks his wife, friends and colleagues. For him, the book is a wish and an effort in life.

Commenting on painter Do Chung, painter Luong Xuan Doan, Chairman of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, affirmed: “He wandered from North to South, and quietly created. It is difficult to trace the first stroke in a painting by painter Do Chung. Not many people have this. The most difficult and easiest things to say are all expressed by painter Do Chung in his paintings. The book launch event of an old painter with many illnesses once again encourages the creative spirit of young artists."

In addition to introducing artworks in his career, the book also respectfully dedicates a photo documentary of painter Do Chung's friends, colleagues, and relatives. We consider this a photo painting work of international standing."

Painter Nguyen Hoang Linh, Head of the Fine Arts Department, Provincial Literature and Arts Association, affirmed: "Painter Do Chung is one of the few veteran artists in Thanh Hoa who is still actively working. The book "Painter Do Chung" summarizes a period of his creation, and at the same time begins a new period of creation."

Painter Do Chung gives books to colleagues and friends.

At the book launch, colleagues, friends and relatives expressed their admiration for his creative energy, professionalism in ideas and mastery in artistic techniques. Since then, the works of artist Do Chung have not only contributed to Thanh art, but also partly reflected the trend of contemporary Vietnamese fine arts.
