(Dan Tri) - In the 2024-2025 school year, Ha Tinh specially recognized 157 students as excellent provincial students in foreign languages, grade 12, with an IELTS score of 7.0 or higher and an international certificate in French.

The Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh province recently issued a decision on special recognition of excellent provincial students in foreign languages ​​for grade 12 in the 2024-2025 school year, with 157 students having an IELTS score of 7.0 or higher and an international certificate in French.

Among them, 2 students scored 8.5 in IELTS, 12 students scored 8.0 in IELTS, equivalent to first prize; 56 students scored 7.5 in IELTS, equivalent to second prize; 86 students scored 7.0 in IELTS, equivalent to third prize in the provincial excellent student competition in English.

In addition, 1 student with DELF B2 French certificate was specially recognized as first prize.

157 students who have been given special privileges this time will be exempted from taking the English and French exams and will enjoy the benefits of provincial excellent students according to regulations.

The school with the most students receiving special treatment is Ha Tinh Specialized High School with 70 students; Phan Dinh Phung High School, Ha Tinh city, ranked second with 25 students.

Ha Tinh province has been specially recognizing excellent foreign language students in grade 12 for many years now. The number of specially recognized students has increased each year, specifically in the 2022-2023 school year there were 93 students, in the 2023-2024 school year there were 145 students and this year there are 157 students.

According to the leaders of the Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh province, the issuance of the above decision to specially recognize excellent students aims to create motivation to promote the foreign language learning movement for students. Thereby, the education sector hopes to contribute to improving the quality of foreign language teaching and learning in the locality.
