Provincial Veterans Association deploys tasks for the fourth quarter

On October 3, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Veterans Association held a conference to review the Association's work in the past 9 months and deploy tasks for the fourth quarter of 2023.

Over the past 9 months, despite many difficulties, the Associations at all levels have closely followed the leadership and guidance of the Party Committees and the Associations at higher levels, proactively developed plans, focused on leadership and direction to complete tasks with high quality. The order and quality of activities of the Associations have been innovated towards practical and effective results. Attention has been paid to administrative reform, and charitable activities have continued to be promoted.

The Provincial Association of War Veterans has summarized 20 years of implementing Resolution 09/NQ-TW dated January 8, 2002 of the Politburo (9th tenure) on "Strengthening the Party's leadership over the work of Vietnam's war veterans in the new revolutionary period" ensuring time and quality. The competition for branch heads of the association at the grassroots and district levels was carried out according to plan.

Inspection and supervision work has been maintained in a disciplined and high-quality manner; trust activities with the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies have made much progress, with strict management and proper use of loans. Many members of the Veterans Association have risen out of poverty.

The work of training cadres and building the Association's organization is regularly given attention; the Association's organizations are united, unified, and maintain trust and prestige with the Party Committees, authorities at all levels and the people in the province. Movement activities have many good models, creative and flexible ways of doing things.

Through discussion, delegates agreed that the tasks for the last months of the year focus on the following contents: Regularly doing a good job of political and ideological education for cadres and members of the Veterans Association. Each veteran always sets an example in implementing and mobilizing people to strictly comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, contributing to consolidating and building a strong Party and government organization, maintaining political security, social order and safety, creating favorable conditions to complete the socio -economic development goals in the locality.

Prepare well for the Patriotic Emulation Congress, celebrating the 35th anniversary of the founding of Vietnam War Veterans Association. Organize the Provincial Competition for Excellent War Veterans Association Heads in 2023 to ensure compliance with the plan. The Provincial War Veterans Association Standing Committee organizes dialogues with War Veterans Association officials in districts and cities.

Do a good job of reviewing and evaluating enterprises, cooperatives, cooperative groups, farms, and households owned by war veterans in the province according to the guidance of the Central Association. Improve the quality of loan entrustment activities with the Social Policy Bank and the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development.

Veterans Associations in districts and cities continue to do a good job of repairing and building new houses for families of surveyed subjects. The Provincial Veterans Association, the Veterans Association of Kim Son district, Tam Diep city, Nho Quan district coordinate with military agencies at all levels to do a good job of performing the provincial defense zone exercise in 2023...
