Nghe Tinh Business Association in Da Nang donated 400 million VND to support flood-hit areas in Tuong Duong.

The recent historic flood caused many blocks and villages in Tuong Duong commune to be deeply submerged, causing serious damage to infrastructure and people's lives. Among them, Xa Luong Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities and Luu Kien Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities were the two most severely affected educational institutions in the area. A series of teaching equipment such as computers, televisions, speakers, tables, chairs, books, etc. were swept away by mud and floodwater or completely damaged, directly affecting the teaching and learning of teachers and students here.

Sharing the difficulties with the school and the people, the Nghe Tinh Business Association expanded in Da Nang donated a total of 400 million VND, of which 200 million VND was given to support Xa Luong Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities; 100 million VND was given to support Luu Kien Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities; 20 gifts, each worth 5 million VND, were given to 20 households whose houses were completely collapsed.

On this occasion, members of the Association directly inspected the current situation, visited and encouraged teachers and affected households.

The charity activities of the Nghe Tinh Business Association expanded in Da Nang demonstrate the noble gesture of the children of Nghe An far from home, joining hands with the people of Tuong Duong mountainous region to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
