An Binh Ward Women's Union organized activities to commemorate heroic martyrs

(CT) - On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 22, the Women's Union of An Binh Ward organized a flower and incense offering ceremony to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Monument of 13 heroic martyrs (An Binh Ward). This is the place to commemorate 13 revolutionary soldiers killed by the enemy during the political struggle at Doi Cai Khe Bridge, Can Tho City.

At the incense offering ceremony, delegates observed a moment of silence, recalling the historical events of the sacrifices of revolutionary soldiers. This is a meaningful activity to pay tribute to the great contributions of heroic martyrs who bravely fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. At the same time, educating revolutionary traditions for generations of women in An Binh ward; arousing the will, aspiration, patriotism, national pride, preserving the good qualities of Vietnamese women in building and defending the Fatherland. From there, studying, striving to excellently complete assigned tasks, contributing with the Party Committee, government and people to successfully complete socio -economic development targets, ensuring national defense, security, and improving people's lives.
