Delegates from the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology; Vietnam Association of Historical Sciences; Ho Chi Minh Institute and Party Leaders; Communist Magazine; Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics .
Speaking at the workshop, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Le Thi Thanh Tra affirmed that the victory of the August Revolution in 1945 was a great heroic epic in the history of building and defending the country, bringing the people from slavery to becoming masters of the country. At the same time, it overthrew colonial and feudal domination and established the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, the first people's democratic state in Southeast Asia. This victory created a great turning point, opening a new era for the nation - the era of national independence associated with socialism.

As the center of the Viet Bac base, Tuyen Quang became the "headquarters" where President Ho Chi Minh and the Party Central Committee directly led the August 1945 General Uprising to victory. During the preparation for the general uprising, the people of all ethnic groups in Tuyen Quang province contributed food, provisions, and built tents and houses for the Central agencies. At the same time, local armed forces were arranged to increase patrols, guard, and provide security, ensuring absolute safety for the leaders and the central agencies.
Also in Tan Trao, many important events of the nation took place such as the National Party Conference (August 13-15, 1945), the National Congress (August 16-17, 1945) decided important issues, ordered a general uprising and mobilized the people of the whole country to rise up to seize power. Those historical milestones clearly affirmed the role and strategic position of Tuyen Quang . At the same time, affirmed the great contributions of the Party Committee and the people of Tuyen Quang to the great victory of the August Revolution in 1945.

Comrade Le Thi Thanh Tra suggested that departments, branches, sectors, unions, and the Provincial Political School continue to promote propaganda and education about the historical value and the epochal stature of the August Revolution in 1945; about the role of the Capital of the Liberated Zone and the contributions of the Party Committee and the people of all ethnic groups in Tuyen Quang province to the victory of the August Revolution. Party committees at all levels need to incorporate this content into Party cell activities and political activities, thereby improving the effectiveness of ideological education, associated with training the qualities and mettle of cadres and Party members. Universities, colleges, and educational institutions continue to research and integrate the content about the historical value of the August Revolution and the role of the Capital of the Liberated Zone of Tuyen Quang into the teaching and learning programs.

At the workshop, delegates, scientists and researchers focused on exchanging, discussing and clarifying the stature and significance of the August Revolution of 1945 for the world revolutionary movement; the contemporary value of the August Revolution of 1945 and National Day September 2, 1945; the leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the victory of the August Revolution; lessons learned in the era of national development. At the same time, they refuted the wrong view of denying the Party's leadership role in the August Revolution.

Analyzing the role of Tuyen Quang - Capital of the Liberated Zone with the victory of the August Revolution in 1945, delegates and researchers affirmed that choosing Tuyen Quang - Capital of the Liberated Zone was a decisive historical choice of the Party and Leader Ho Chi Minh, contributing to the victory of the revolution. Tuyen Quang was also the locality that initiated the partial uprising in the August Revolution and initiated the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. The delegates' discussion also emphasized the promotion of historical values and lessons learned from the August Revolution applied to practice. Focusing on proactively and creatively applying experiences and seizing opportunities to build and develop Tuyen Quang province today; promoting the spirit of independence and autonomy of the August Revolution in socio-economic development in the new era; arousing the desire to contribute to the youth of Tuyen Quang province.
