More than 1,000 schools welcome students back to school

On August 27, 1,040 schools and educational institutions in Lao Cai province simultaneously organized activities to welcome students back to school for the 2025-2026 school year.

All schools organize group activities on the first day of school.

In the 2025-2026 school year, the whole province has more than 465,000 students. The atmosphere of the first day of school is bustling, joyful and exciting from favorable areas to difficult areas.

From early morning, teachers were present at school to welcome students. Especially for young students, teachers coordinated with parents to help them get used to the new learning environment.

As planned, on the morning of September 5, educational institutions in Lao Cai province simultaneously organized the Opening Ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year with an online connection to the National Convention Center - where the 80th Anniversary of the founding of the Ministry of National Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training ) took place, creating an educational event of special significance.
