More than 13.8 billion VND for purchasing equipment and repairing medical facilities

Today, August 19, the People's Committee of Quang Tri province issued a decision to allocate the 2024 health career budget with an amount of more than 13.8 billion VND to the Department of Health to purchase medical equipment and repair facilities according to Resolution No. 87/2022/NQ-HDND, dated December 9, 2022 of the Provincial People's Council and Project No. 6785/DA-UBND dated December 30, 2022 of the Provincial People's Committee.

Of which, more than 12.2 billion VND was spent on purchasing equipment; more than 1.5 billion VND was spent on repairing medical facilities at Trieu Hai Regional General Hospital, Provincial Cadre Health Management Clinic and Vinh Linh General Hospital.

Implementation period is from 2024 to 2025. The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to guide the implementation of the decision; the Department of Health is responsible for organizing the repair of facilities and purchasing medical equipment to ensure compliance with current legal regulations, promote efficiency, and avoid waste.
