More than 300 people participated in voluntary blood donation

This morning, March 29, the Cam Lo District Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee organized the first Voluntary Blood Donation Festival of 2024.

With the meaning of “a drop of blood given, a life saved”, this blood donation campaign had more than 300 people including cadres, youth union members, teachers and police officers participating. The total amount of blood collected was 329 units, contributing to help the health sector reduce the difficulty of blood shortage to serve the treatment of patients.

President of Cam Lo District Red Cross Society Nguyen Thi My Loan said that this voluntary blood donation festival had more participants than the previous ones, especially some people who had donated blood more than 30 times. The district's voluntary blood donation steering committee acknowledged and thanked the noble gesture of those who have always worked for the community, for the health and lives of patients.
