More than 3.2 billion VND to plan the preservation, repair and restoration of the ancient well system in Gio An commune

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision approving the budget for planning the preservation, repair and restoration of the water exploitation and treatment system of 14 ancient wells in Gio An commune, Gio Linh district.

Accordingly, the total approved budget is more than 3.2 billion VND. Of which, the cost of topographic survey is more than 440 million VND; the cost of planning task preparation is more than 440 million VND; the cost of planning project preparation is more than 2.33 billion VND; the rest are other costs such as preparing invitation documents, evaluating bidding documents for construction survey and planning project preparation, cost of appraising bidding documents...

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Center for Monuments and Museum Management to organize the planning and settlement of expenses to ensure compliance with current legal regulations.

It is known that Gio An ancient well system currently has 14 ancient wells that were ranked as national historical and cultural relics by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2001.
