More than 650 exams were failed, most were in English

According to the analysis of high school graduation exam scores announced by the Ministry of Education and Training this morning, 656 exams in 9 subjects received a score of 1 or lower. In each subject, the failure rate was 0.004-0.022%, all down from last year.

English had the most failing scores - 192. However, compared to last year, this number has decreased by 2.2 times. This is also the subject with the lowest average score of 5.45. The highest score a candidate achieved was only 4.2 points.

Math is the subject with the second highest number of failing scores with 123 papers. Chemistry has the fewest failing scores - 14.

By locality, Hanoi has 77 failing scores - the most in the country. Ho Chi Minh City is second with 45 failing scores. However, these are the two localities with the largest number of candidates taking the graduation exam.

According to the regulations, candidates with failing scores will not be eligible to graduate. At that time, they will be eligible to be admitted to any university or college, regardless of whether their scores in the admission combination are high or not.
