More than 9,200 volunteers contributed to creating a meaningful green summer

On the morning of September 19, the Standing Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union held a conference to summarize the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign.

The program took place in a vibrant atmosphere, gathering a large number of union members, youth, representatives of volunteer teams and many outstanding groups and individuals.

The conference was also connected online to 124 communes, wards and special zones in the province, creating a widespread and synchronous connection throughout the system. This is an opportunity to look back on the exciting volunteer activities of the past summer, affirming the spirit of "Where there is a need, there is youth, where there is difficulty, there is youth" of Lam Dong youth.

This year's Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign marked the youth of Lam Dong with more than 9,200 volunteers participating in 513 teams. From rural to urban areas, the green shirt has left behind many practical works such as: 38 temporary houses were replaced worth more than 2 billion VND, more than 27,000 trees were planted, dozens of roads were cleared and lit, creating a spacious appearance for the locality.

Social security activities also spread strongly with thousands of gifts, scholarships worth more than 1.1 billion VND, nearly 2,300 children receiving free swimming lessons, along with blood donation programs, medical examination and treatment, and heart surgery support for poor children.

The new highlight is the youth team accompanying local authorities at two levels, supporting the reception of more than 36,000 administrative records, contributing to improving the quality of service to people and affirming the vanguard role of youth in digital transformation.

At the Conference, many enthusiastic presentations shared experiences from the teams, highlighting the creativity and responsibility of youth in each specific task.

Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union Deputy Secretary H'Hong acknowledged and commended the efforts of the Youth Union at all levels and thousands of union members and youths who made the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign a success.

He affirmed that these results were achieved thanks to the attention and support of all sectors, the initiative and creativity of the youth in the whole province, especially this year's campaign marked a breakthrough with the operation of the 2-level local government.
