Cooperation to make English a common language in Phu Yen University

At the program, Director of the Institute for International Education and Economics Research Nguyen Thi Hong Loan presented the English program for students and potential cooperation directions. Leaders of the two units also exchanged, discussed, answered related issues and signed a memorandum of cooperation agreement.

Director of the Institute for International Education and Economics Research Nguyen Thi Hong Loan introduced the English program for students to the leaders of Phu Yen University.

The contents to be implemented include: UNIS@English program - supplementing listening and speaking skills with native teachers for school students according to the OMO model (Online - Merge - Offline) with the support of digital technology deployed by the Director of the Institute of International Education and Economics Research.

Phu Yen University drafted a dual degree training program for economic majors according to UK standards. The Institute for International Education and Economics conducted international assessment, helping Phu Yen University successfully defend the project before the professional board of London Metropolitan University and the Risk Assessment Council (UK's independent assessment council).

Dr. Tran Lang, Principal of Phu Yen University, spoke at the meeting.

This program will promote the strengths in each side's fields of operation, aiming to improve the quality of training high-quality human resources to meet the needs of society, contributing to improving English proficiency for students of Phu Yen University, gradually making English the second language in the school.
