According to the Department of Science and Technology, Ho Chi Minh City has 728,000 businesses registered on the National Business Registration Information System, currently there are 420,000 businesses in operation, but the city is only managing 227,248 “.vn” domain names (accounting for 36% of the country’s domain name resources). Mr. Do Quang Trung, Head of the Vietnam Internet Center branch in Ho Chi Minh City, said that in recent times, Ho Chi Minh City has achieved many outstanding results in the management, exploitation and development of Internet resources, becoming one of the typical localities in the country in digital transformation and application of new technologies. These results not only affirm Ho Chi Minh City's determination and implementation capacity, but also create a solid foundation for the city to continue to lead in digital transformation and develop the digital economy and society in the coming time.
