Hue: Urgently overcome tornado to help victims have a place to avoid the storm

At noon on September 28, houses whose roofs were blown off by a tornado in Quang Dien commune (Hue city) were urgently re-roofed by armed forces, ensuring safe shelter for the people.

Mr. Tran Dinh Vuong, Commander of the Quang Dien Commune Military Command, said that at about 2:15 a.m. on September 28, a tornado occurred in Quang Dien Commune, causing the roofs of 85 houses to be blown off; the outdoor dome of Quang An Primary School No. 2 was damaged... The tornado also blew off the roof of the warehouse of An Xuan Agricultural Cooperative, causing many tons of stored rice to be wet.

Armed forces urgently overcome tornado

Hue City Military Command mobilized officers and soldiers of the Defense Command of Region 1 - Huong Tra and the Military Command of Quang Dien commune to quickly help people and schools overcome the consequences of the tornado.

Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh directed the overcoming of tornado consequences in Quang Dien commune.

At the scene of the tornado, Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh directed local authorities to coordinate with police and army forces to support and overcome the damage caused by the tornado.

Regarding the wet rice seeds at An Xuan Agricultural Cooperative, the Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee directed support forces to transport them to a dry place, and if necessary, dry them to limit damage.
