Mobilizing vehicles to search for 4 missing fishermen

Information from the People's Committee of Quang Nham commune, Quang Xuong district ( Thanh Hoa province) said that as of the afternoon of April 22, four fishermen missing after the ship sank at sea had not yet been found.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Bach, Secretary of Quang Nham commune, said that a fishing boat of the commune went to the area where the ship sank and coordinated with the solidarity team of local fishermen (including 8 fishing boats) and functional forces to organize a search for 4 fishermen.

Previously, at 1:00 a.m. on April 21, the fishing boat with registration number TH - 90088 - TS, 300 horsepower owned by Mr. Hoang Van San (born in 1979) was fishing in the waters of Quang Ninh when it was sunk by a tornado. At that time, there were 8 fishermen on board. At 8:00 a.m. on April 22, a fishing boat operating nearby rescued four people, including: Hoang Van San (born in 1979); Hoang Van Ninh (born in 1989); Tran Van Thiet (born in 1982) and Tran Van Thieu.

Immediately after receiving the information, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Thanh Hoa province sent a document to provinces from Quang Ninh to Da Nang city to notify fishing boats and fishermen operating near the fishing boat in distress to assist in search and rescue.
