Effectively connecting production to the market along the supply chain

Mr. Huynh Van Thon - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Loc Troi Group said that in recent times, the Group has closely cooperated with farmers to produce and export rice. Thanks to that, each year, the Group has a large amount of high-quality rice exported to the European Union (EU) market. In particular, the selling price of rice products in the EU is at a very favorable level.

In 2024, the Group will participate in the Project "Sustainable development of one million hectares of high-quality and low-emission rice cultivation associated with green growth in the Mekong Delta by 2030" with a rice area of ​​365,000 hectares. In those areas, the Group will bring all crop protection solutions to farmers to ensure productivity and product prices. By participating with the Group, farmers will be invested in all seeds and input materials with the criteria of correctness, sufficiency, cost reduction, and environmental protection. Farmers are allowed to apply synchronous mechanization: harvesters, plows, straw rollers, seeders... with the production criterion of having no footprints on the field. Farmers are allowed to owe costs until the end of the season and deduct them from the sale of rice. This is called the Group's cashless farming criterion. From there, continue to improve people's lives and increase the value of rice exports.

At the same time, trade promotion and expansion of agricultural markets also help agricultural products to continuously increase their value and become known to the world . Agricultural exports have gradually shifted to official channels and are present in over 280 countries and territories, ranking 2nd in Southeast Asia and 15th in the world. The total export turnover of agricultural, forestry and fishery products in the period of 2021 - 2023 is over 155.2 billion USD, and is expected to reach 55 - 56 billion USD in 2024. Of which, there are 6 products with an export turnover of over 3 billion USD.
