Keysight Advances 6G Vision with Nvida 6G Research Platform

The collaboration will provide researchers with a comprehensive toolkit to develop new applications of artificial intelligence (AI) for the radio access network (RAN). The addition of Keysight’s network simulation solutions will enable researchers to develop and validate new methods for optimizing radio access using Keysight’s comprehensive network simulation capabilities.

Keysight is currently researching solutions for 6G technology.

As with early 6G research, AI technology is evolving rapidly, so it is likely that 6G will be the first generation of wireless technology to be fully AI-enabled. Validating new AI algorithm approaches optimized for increased capacity, speed, and network application types requires simulating real-world network conditions at scale. Realistic simulation tools for every part of the wireless system are needed to train, test, and refine AI algorithms before commercialization.

To help 6G researchers build future-proof AI algorithms, Keysight is adding comprehensive network simulation and test solutions to the Nvida 6G Research Cloud. Keysight is building cloud-based versions of these solutions and making them available on the research platform in a flexible and scalable manner. With the Nvida 6G Research Cloud, 6G researchers can access Keysight solutions under realistic network conditions. Running in the cloud, Keysight's network simulation solutions will now also run faster and be more scalable with access to Nvida's seamless GPU-accelerated network.
