On the morning of October 23, the Hue City Civil Defense Command said that heavy rain due to the impact of storm No. 12 caused severe erosion of the coastline through Hoa Duan residential group, Thuan An ward, with a length of 1km.
Seawater encroaches 50 to 70 meters inland, affecting essential infrastructure, tourism services and posing a risk of opening new sea gates.




The 2km long coastline through Vinh Loc commune has been eroded 10 to 30m inland, affecting Provincial Road 21, essential infrastructure works, and posing a risk of opening the sea gate.


On the same morning, many landslides continued to occur in Khe Tre commune, Hue city. Among them, at the turn from La Son - Tuy Loan highway to the center of Khe Tre commune, the slope of the slope collapsed.
Khe Tre commune authorities coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board to deploy a handling plan and prevent vehicles from passing through this area.


In the area of pass No. 5, Loc Hung village, Khe Tre commune, there is a risk of landslides, threatening to isolate about 40 households. The locality has developed a plan to evacuate to ensure safety.
