Opening of the Dak Lak Province Secondary School Teacher Competition for the 2024-2025 school year

On March 31, at Nguyen Du High School for the Gifted, the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak organized the opening ceremony of the Dak Lak Provincial Secondary School Teacher Competition for the 2024-2025 school year.

The contest had the participation of 419 teachers from 245 secondary schools under 15 Departments of Education and Training in the province. These are excellent teachers selected from competitions for excellent secondary school teachers at the grassroots level.

Candidates will go through 2 rounds of competition including: Presenting measures to contribute to improving the quality of teaching and learning of individuals at the educational institution where the teacher is working; Practicing teaching 01 lesson, teaching content in grades 6, 7, 8, 9 of the 2018 General Education Program.

The contests will be held from March 31 to April 4, 2025 at secondary schools in Buon Ma Thuot City. The organizing committee mobilized 184 key secondary and high school teachers to be judges for the contest.

Director of the Department of Education and Training Le Thi Thanh Xuan delivered the opening speech of the contest.

The Provincial Competition for Excellent Secondary School Teachers is a meaningful and practical activity held every four years to discover, recognize and honor outstanding teachers, and at the same time promote advanced models in the education sector; create conditions for teachers and educational administrators to demonstrate their professional capacity, innovate teaching methods, actively study, exchange teaching experiences, contribute to improving the quality of education and developing careers.

The results of the Competition will be one of the important bases for assessing the current status of the staff of educational institutions. From there, it will be the basis for developing training and development plans to improve professional capacity and develop teachers' capacity to meet the requirements of innovation according to the 2018 General Education Program.
