The Mau Temple was solidly built in the 5th year of Bao Dai (1926) on De Nhi Street, now Tran Hung Dao Street, in Le Hong Phong Ward. The temple worships the Holy Mother Lieu Hanh - the holy mother who heads the system of Tam Phu, Tu Phu worshiping the Mother Goddess of the Vietnamese people. During the years of resistance against the US, the Mau Temple was severely damaged. In 2019, people from all over the country joined hands to rebuild the Mau Temple on the old temple grounds. The Mau Temple was recognized as a provincial-level historical and cultural relic in 2020. In 2023, the Mau Temple festival was restored and held for the first time after 50 years with many traditional rituals.
